Before we look at the precise details of the indicator itself, lets start off with some snap shots of what you will see on the chart when the indicator is drawn.
The first question which needs answering is to say, NO, the indicator does not repaint, as it is based on price level breaks, once a price level break has taken place, a break is a break and is noted as such. Very ocassionally due to , MT4 and multiple charts being open at the same time, other applications or PC constraints and conflicts, you might get a glitch, but by simply deleteing the indicator and re-applying it everything will be reset. My advice is to simply reboot your machine one a week - at a minimum. In essence this indicator is a solid as solid as a rock.
Please take a look at the USDJPY chart below and you will notice that we have two types of coloured arrows. You will also notice that there are up arrows coloured Turquoise(this can changed to the colour of your choise) and down arrows which are coloured red.
A further important point, that traders need to understand, is that this indicator does not work the way most others do, meaning "see a red arrow = go short". This is how most other indicators work but not this one. An arrow merely indicates that certain price action level break has taken place or been detected and that a follow through in price is likely. The arow represents a wake up call, an alert, a 'get ready'.
Most sucessful trading systems work on the idea that first you get a set up signal, pulse, warning light, get ready, wake up call, name it what you like, then a green light to enter may or may not come afterwards.
Do take a look at how we mostly get multiple pulses or alerts one after another, a buunch of them all together, but sometimes just one alert which stands alone.
We must use this knowledge and phenomenen to our advantage to create setups.
Notice also how we get alerts on almost every market swing, which means there is the potential to be very actively involved in the market on this 20 pip range bar chart.
Trading systems that use set up alerts are more likely to be successful because the developer has avoided the temptation to 'filter out false signals', this is a frequent topic of conversation on trading forums.
The issue of course with such filtering, is that by filtering out the false signals you remove so many successful signals you leave yourself with a failing trading system.
Better then to use such signals as alerts and to find another way to detect likely winners.
On the EURUSD chart above notice again how individual signals or pulses which stand alone ferquently come to nothing, there is no follow through, this is why we will look to trade multiple signals this will give us a lot of confidence to enter the market.
As with many of the other currency pair charts there are several runs of multiple signals which how ever you trade them will be profitable over the long run.
The EURUSD is a good trending market and traders could trade for 10 pip range bars upwards to a maximum of 25 in this market.
Momentum 4.1.1 Indicator
In the following paragraphs I will describe in depth, some of the details concerning the Momentum 4.1.1 Indicator.
Firstly, the indicator should only be run on Range bars. Please see the link below where you can find a good range bar plugin.(I seed back my affiliate commission to all traders, so you get a good deal from AZ-Invest)
The reason the indicator works so well on range bars is because when you trade with range bars many of the difficult sideways continuation patterns are removed,k this is because range candles have no concept of time. The removal of time is a major point and something mots traders over look in their trading.
As you will have seen in the videos above, the Momentum 4.1.1 indicator is great for firstly getting the correct direction of price and secondly trading intermediate swing trades which net around 30 to 80 pips.
One of the most successful ways to trade FX is using momentum strategies, this has been proven by academic studies, but very often getting into the trade at the right momentum is the difficult part. This indicator unashamedly gets in when price is being pushed by the market and gets out when it has been pushed even further. It forms part of my 'BUY HIGH SELL HIGHER' portfolio.
The indicator can be used in a multitude of ways, to suit most traders style of trading.I am very confident in the ability of the indicator that is why I am releasing a live version.
As I have already stated, the indicator works on range charts and on any range chart value, but I would recommend between 15 and 20 pips and it also works on any pair.
The objective of the indicator is to capture as much as possible of any momentum move and to be aware of potential reversals, my use of the indicator allows me to take profits at extreme tops. The indicator will wait patiently for the right move to occur and then jump in to capture that move, frequently exiting very close to the high of the intermediate swing.
The indicator runs against any pair and as we are always need to consider best entry it is advisable to run your MT4 on a VPS machine to obtian the earliest entry and in order to capture every pip of the move.
If you are new to FX, then please drop me a line using the help desk on the main menu, in order to discuss the indicator and for any further explanations should you need them.
- Generates a signal when the most extreme momentum is present
- Follows the principles of Buy High Sell Higher(I have a method to take profits after excessive price pushes)
- Follows trend following principles, helps to cuts losses short and lets' profits run by getting the right direction
- Minimises the effect of sideways activity or whipsaws as stays out of the market during such times
- Insists on price momentum confirmation before generating a signal
- Works on range bars 7 to 20 pips in value
- Ensures the trader can obtain a good risk to reward ratio by getting the momentum direction correct
- Can be used on any pair for example EUR/USD, USD/CAD, GBP/USD, EUR/NZD, USDJPY

Can you let me see an example of the type of profit it is possible to make with this indicator?
Yes for sure, just look on this page at some of the examples and judge for yourself what if you bought the first signal arrow of each group, do you think you could generate some pips with this given the fact the direction is nearly always correct?
Can anyone trade using this indicator?
Yes, I have taken a lot of the donkey work out of obtaining trades where the momentum will go in the traders favour. All that is left is for the trader to either apply some of his own favourite stop and exit strategies or copy those that I use.
How much money can you make using this indicator?
How much money you make depends on how much money you bring to the table, how many pairs you are trading and what the values are of the range bars. My own strategies look to trade very conservatively. I trade the 20 pip ranges and like to trade 8:00 AM until 17:00 PM.
There is a lot to learn about FX , how the market moves and how various players play out their daily playbook in the market.
I created this indicator, as whilst I propose that most people are much better suited to trading using EA's and removing the psychological pressure of trading which is typically applied to traders, many people still like to trade manually.
One of the most over looked methods in FX is momentum trading, everyone talks about fading moves and false breakouts, but the majority of successful traders trade breakout moves, the skill is in judging when to get involved in the move.
Using a signal general/MT4 indicator gives you the trade more confidence to enter the market. This is because you can visually see previous signals which have been successful, printed on the chart.
You can trade multiple pairs using this indicator as it is very versatile and purely price driven, when the price doesn't move neither does the indicator.
Choosing the right broker can be a minefield for the uniniiated. I have found that true ECN broker IC Markets are about as good as you get when you balance costs against service. They provide us with a rebate so we pay 5.5 instead 7 per million.
Whilst it is not essential to use a VPS when trading using this signal generator, because I enter my trades at precise price levels I can still obtain the benefits of lightening fast entry using a VPS even though I am trading using a signal generator rather than an EA.
It is important to get at the front of queue what ever your trade size and whatever your trading strategy. Using a good VPS machine will help you in this respect. Make sure you select the correct machine located right newt to your brokers machine.
CNS can help with this as they are experts in Forex VPS machines.
