MACHINE LEARNING

Machine Learning is a vast subject,  but I would like to keep things simple.

Let's say,  your trading system is set up to trade when price extends beyond a certain daily level in points or pips. For arguments sake we can use a value of 100 pips. This is a type of breakout trading system.

Let's further say,  that our algorithmic trading system is capable of detecting that in a reduced volatility market there would an opportunity to trade profitably,  when price extended by only 50 points/pips, using a reduced target profit. Then your algorithmic trading system can be said to be 'learning' as it trades and analyses the market.

This is a simple example of machine learning using the analysis of just one element or trading parameter.

Markets never stand still, they expand and contract as interest in the financial instrument ebbs and flows. One minute a market can be on fire the next in can be in the doldrums. A one size fits all trading system will not be able to deal correctly with such ebbs/flows.

Extended doldrums or a change in external factors, can reduce market activity, in extreme cases,  it can send the instrument and market out of business. An example of this is the  Potatoes Futures market which is no more with us,  due to volatility which dropped to nothing. The reason why this happened is due to much improved refrigeration and storage possibilities of the product itself, which negated the need for producers to hedge on the future exchanges.

Growth

Setting reasonable profit targets, with proper money management, via the use of  conservative leverage levels, is sufficient to create ample account  profits.

Markets

Algorithmic trading using machine learning can be applied to most financial instruments and markets.

Learning

Earn as you learn, by following the algorithmic trading course and implementing my strategies, using the algos I will provide you with.

Support

My support desk will reply to you,  if and when you have question. Simply drop us an email via the contact page on this website or from inside the members area.

Progress

I am constantly striving to improve my algorithmic trading strategies and any updates that I release in the future will be included in the price of my training.

Community

The Exact Trading community help and support each other within the membership area of the training and we have a growing community of traders.

Machine Learning helps the trader adapt to changing market conditions?

By adapting to the type of market conditions currently in place , the trader can avoid costly mistakes, for example the "one size fits all trading style" using an algorithm which will continue to trade in "yesterday's market conditions" rather than adapting to "today's" and as a result, end up drawing down or even worse losing money.

Last Year Was Amazing for My Algo Development

Like most people, I was at home during the 2020/2021 COVID lockdowns and this gave me a lot of time to analyze my usual and some additional, to help build and develop further my trading systems , some of the work I started over thirty years ago.

During this period, I was able to approach one  of the major elements of my trading with fresh ideas, and this concerned the Random Walk Theory, as taught in the major universities.

Additionally, I plunged into the area of Bayesian statistics,  which I have spoken about previously on exact trading webinars. The two concepts when coupled enabled me to cement together some successful ideas.

In the course,  I will show you simple examples of how I use both concepts, to produce reliable trading algorithms, which understand a market phase and trade when the odds are tilted in the traders favour.

As part of the course you will receive these two algorithms, both of which run on either Metatrader MT4 or Metatrader MT5.

Learn From Experts

I have worked for many of the worlds major banks and asset managers and have witnessed just about every bubble or crash that can occur  in a market.

Emotional Trading

Many traders like to trade using their 'emotions,' whilst I am sure there are some rare cases of traders who can trade successfully like this, most cannot.

Algos work 4 you

Algorithmic trading is advantageous, as it allows you the trader to do something else whilst your algos trade for you.

Indicators

We must trade using techniques relevant to  2022 not 1922. Using techniques as that were relevant a couple of generations of traders ago won't get us anywhere.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see some results of the algos?

Use the menu at the top of this page to view the live results and read more details about the of the algorithms which trade on the markets i trade. Obtain a better understanding of what drives those results and what is possible using machine learning algorithms.

Which Instruments do You Trade?

One of the principle drivers for deciding which instruments are suitable for trading algorithmically is the volatility, another is the cost of trading which includes spread, commissions and where applicable, SWAP. Traders will be surprised to earn that it is not necessarily the most volatile instruments which are best suited to

Does FX Trend Enough For Algorithmic Trading

FX is not as volatile as some traders would like it and you will frequently read that Indices are the place to be. Whilst it is true indices are more volatile than FX, traders still need to think about what price they will get filled at in fast moving markets. FX may not move much , but it moves enough to make profitable algos.

What If I don't Know Anything About MT4 or MT5

Metatrader 4 and 5 are industry standard trading platforms which are very robust. Ten of thousands of traders around the world use and trade with the Metatrader platform, which is extremely easy and intuitive to use and navigate. It is rock solid in terms of reliability. In my course  i explain how to set up your trading algo within MT4.

How Much Can I Make?

Let's be realistic about things, first of all I will ask you to ignore the Instagram adverts that claim you can make millions of dollars in a matter of days trading FX,  Crypto or Indices. If this was possible the likes of Goldman Sachs would such the worlds markets dry in no time at all and there would be no more markets. Its relatively easy to make 5 to 8 percent a year, what I am looking at are increase in your account of between 50 and 100 percent, trading in a controlled low leverage manner..
